Proving that creativity and commercial acumen can work in synthesis, Designer, Ella Doran, sits in a quite unique position. From wrapping paper to silk drapes, Ella’s work is immediately recognizable. She has transformed everyday objects into design-conscious pieces through the clever manipulation of the photographic image, either on its own, or combined with striking hand-coloured backgrounds.
The success of the products she has designed has already resulted in her winning The Laurent Perrier Eureka 2006 award, and being shortlisted for the Walpole Awards for creative talent in 2007.
