 Hidden Art is a membership organisation that supports and promotes designer-makers, while offering companies and members of the public access to original design.
Our aim is to improve access to information, enable the exchange of ideas and expertise and offer a platform for designer-makers to exhibit and sell work, products and designs to key markets and the public. Hidden Art is the trading name of Mazorca Projects, a not-for-profit organisation.
Hidden Art began in 1994 as a small open studios event showing the work of 43 Hackney-based designer-makers. A decade on, it has developed into a unique network, supporting over 1,800 designer-makers and building links between the creative and manufacturing industries and their clients. |

As demand for high quality design grows, opportunities for businesses are expanding. Hidden Art initiatives
Hidden Art runs a number of initiatives that focus on the various issues which designer-makers face at all stages in their development. We offer:
- Buying and selling opportunities via Hidden Art Open Studios, Hidden Art Shop, Hidden Art Design Brokerage and showcasing at 100% Design and Milan Furniture Fair
- Information and promotion via our website, www.hiddenart.com which features news, information and an extensive directory of designer-makers’ work, the quarterly colour Hidden Art Magazine and e-newsletters, the Hidden Art Bureau online information resource centre and online helpdesk.
- Business development via the annual Hidden Art Forum, networking sessions, Tailored Training Programme, and the Hidden Art Pool of Specialists.
As a not-for-profit organisation, any revenue generated by Hidden Art’s services is reinvested to support designer-makers.
